About artec technologies AG
artec technologies AG from the traditional county seat of Diepholz in Germany develops and manufactures innovative software and system solutions for the transmission and recording of TV video, radio, audio and metadata in networks and on the Internet. For more than twelve years, our customers have been using the MULTIEYE® product platform for high-definition video surveillance solutions and XENTAURIX® for broadcast monitoring, Internet TV, and streaming media applications. Our product platforms distinguish themselves through their modular hardware and software architectures, and provide our customers with the highest standards of flexibility, expandability, and investment security.
Our MULTIEYE® brand and solution platform provides an extensive variety of products for the creation of high-resolution video surveillance systems. The characteristic multi-functionality of these MULTIEYE products and system solutions not only gives the final user added value for his money, they can also be implemented for such a variety of purposes as quality control, production control, marketing promotion, or to maximize operational security. Ever since the MULTIEYE-HYBRID generation was introduced in 2003, artec technologies AG has remained a pioneer in hybrid-based video surveillance systems. We continue to set new standards with our in-house development of the DirectStream technology which masters the high image-processing rates demanded by modern megapixel cameras.
The most successful product of the XENTAURIX® family – the XBL-Broadcast Logger system – is usually deployed for the recording, live streaming, and playback of TV, video, and radio/video broadcasts via LAN or the Internet. It uses a standard web browser to call up either live, time-shifted, or archived productions. Television/radio broadcasters, IPTV, and cable providers use the XBL-Broadcast Logger as a long-term video recorder to guarantee proof of broadcast compliance. TV stations use the system to generate logs of advertising spots broadcast for their customers and provide them with online confirmation. Media-centers generate and edit video clips with the logger. Wide varieties of commercial companies, media monitors, and institutes use the logger to conduct their research, e.g. for broadcast material on relevant topics and media content. In the areas of advanced and continued education, the logger is deployed for live video streaming, recording, and archiving.
