WMR Broadcast Encoders are used for the real-time encoding of analog and digital signal sources for Windows Media streams. Optionally, the encoders can also be equipped to produce Real Media, Flash, MPEG-4AVC and H-264 streams. As a result of the software-based codecs, WMR Broadcast Encoders are not only quite versatile, but are also optimally equipped for future codecs.
The WMR encoders are available in 1, 2, 4 or 8 channel versions. Depending on the configuration, Multibit and Simulstreams can be produced. Encoders with analog, digital and DVB inputs are available. Live display occurs via standard I-browsers (without plug-ins), a MultiViewer, or X230 set-top boxes.
Through the selection of high-quality, industrial components and special monitoring software, the encoders are designed for maximum performance and operational reliability.
New the DVB streaming encoder
The encoders of the model family WMR-DVB have one or two DVB-S/C/T inputs. The tuners are integrated into the devices and can be remote controlled and configured per ERC (Encoder Remote Control). The transport stream is directly transcoded into a WM9/VC-1 signal. Correspondingly, the live stream can be streamed directly into the network or Internet without any loss of quality.
ERC (Encoder Remote Control)
All WMR Broadcast Encoders are delivered with ERC (Encoder Remote Control) software, which enables the remote configuration and remote control of single, multiple or even entire farms of encoders via standard I–browsers.
