The MULTIEYE® VideoCenter II (VCII) is an easy-to-operate multifunctional video management solution for monitoring a number of MULTIEYE® Recorders. The VCII, Version 2.2, can now monitor up to 32 MULTIEYE® Recorders simultaneously. The multiscreen layout can be individually configured and stored for each separate user. The VCII, Version 2.2, distinguishes itself through a number of performance improvements and a variety of new features, and provides cross-system video management solutions at an unbeatable cost/performance ratio.
The details:
- The VCII administers and visualizes up to 256 monitor windows for – to mention but a few examples - for live camera displays, playback, I/O operations, internet browsers and logo files. Hotspot image displays and site plans can also be allocated to these monitor windows.
- All in all, the VCII supports up to four PC working monitors, and up to a maximum of 64 monitor windows can be allocated to each PC working monitor. At the same time, the multiscreen layout can be individually adapted and stored for each user via the "Favorites" function.
- With the dynamic "Hotspot" function, cameras can be displayed in the "Hotspot" window either with a click of the mouse or via the automatic alarm function. The programmable "Hotspot" function also enables the display of alarm-image sequences – to enable alarm re-enactment.
- Site plans are generated through the site-plan editor and logically linked to cameras and switch elements.
- Playback in the VCII is done with the integrated player and its motion-index display.
- The VCII contains PTZ control via popup or a joystick with expanded operational functions.
- With the new distortion-correction function of the Immervision IMV1-1/3 lens, both digital zooming or the PTZ enable image distortion corrected display The VCII provides artec technologies' own "Hot Zone Megapixel Zooming" function as well as DirectStream technology to conserve resources when monitoring IP video streams with the MULTIEYE® recorders.
- In the multiscreen monitor windows, up to four internet browsers can be opened for third-party applications. This makes the VCII applicable for integrating and using third-party applications such as two-way audio, video telephony, people counting or, as a further example, for monitoring recorder-independent IP cameras, encoders and external video recorders.
- The VCII includes its own user management.
The VideoCenter II is available as a software version with a USB dongle or as a complete monitoring station with two or four DVI outputs. Each client requires its own license.
NOTE:
When the expanded playback function through network players is used, the MULTIEYE® recorders must be licensed accordingly.
When using the VCII Version 2.2 in MULTIEYE® systems up to version 2.1, the MULTIEYE recorders/systems must be upgraded (upgrade article number 812101).
